We present to you the new line of WIVAMAC DB wood lathes. In fact, they are the old faithful models in a modern guise. Since the earlier WIVAMAC DB lathes were praised for their reliability, build quality and precision, we have retained these good elements. However, these new more modern versions now have a speed indicator with corresponding new electronics.
Fully manufactured and assembled in Belgium!
The DB1000 3.2 has a motor power of 1500W (2HP). The control knobs are found on a magnetic control box, just like on our WIVAMAC Zebrano lathes.
New upgrades in our 2023 model are:
- Fully rotatable and movable fixed head, by means of eccentric clamping lever at the rear
- Heavier bed of 8 mm steel thickness
- Three-stage pulley with wider drive belt
- Door safety by means of microswitch
- Loose head with trapezoidal thread
- New bearing arrangement with preload
- European motor, IE3 standard
- Overrun protection (ASR)
- Perfectly balanced main shaft by use of pulley with clamping bush
These new generation lathes "Made in Belgium" are unbeatable in terms of price/quality ratio. Naturally, the well-known WIVAMAC service is included free of charge.
