Unlike ordinary pocket knives, the Pro Pocket Whittler 2 is custom designed with the wood carver in mind. The blade features the perfect classic shape for better carving. It folds when closed and locks securely when fully opened (will not fold when pulled out of a cut). Features improved gently contoured handle. All contact points are hand polished for smooth operation and extra comfort. Special high quality blade steel and Rc 61 hardness. The high carbon content of the steel provides incredible strength, hardness and edge sharpness holding qualities; yet it resists corrosion and wear.
The blades are hand sharpened so the blade edge straightness may vary slightly. A straight edge is not typically needed for wood carving by knife.
