The speed can be infinitely adjusted according to each application. In addition, the digital electronics are equipped with soft start, constant loaded speed, speed reduction at no load and overload protection.
The FM 1000's labyrinth seal permanently protects spindle and bearing from small particles, dust and chips.
The FM 1000 has a noise level of only 71 dB, making it very quiet. MAFELL's milling motors are also manufactured in Oberndorf am Neckar and subjected to strict quality controls. Before delivery, each milling motor is "run in" in the test cabin. This ensures a longer service life. The FM 1000 has maximum eccentricity due to filigree tuning of all components such as the double-bearing spindle to absorb axial forces and the innovative, tool-free quick clamping system. In addition, this milling motor has an overload inidcator with LED status inidcation.
For an easy and convenient change of cutters, the spindle can be locked at the push of a button.
The motor's armature and spindle are milled from a single piece of metal and carefully balanced. The parts of the motor are precisely matched. The result is extraordinary precision.
