Electric foot pedal for your new Hegner Multicut!

Based on Hegner's proven electronic speed control, which allows the speed of sawing movements to be optimally adjusted to the material being processed and the user's needs, Hegner has developed this innovative new operating concept.

The pedal now controls the speed of the machine, which is especially advantageous when cutting complicated motifs. Without interrupting the sawing process, the speed can be continuously adjusted using the foot when moving from long straight lines to filigree sections with tight radii and angles. Without interrupting the sawing flow, the hands can now stay on the workpiece for the first time. Besides the advantage of making work easier, this also significantly improves the cutting pattern.

When cutting larger sections and workpieces at a constant speed, the foot can be taken off the pedal. The machine keeps the set speed constant until the foot pedal is pressed again. Hegner's electronic speed control ensures even power distribution of the motor over the entire speed range, even at low cutting speeds.

For technical reasons, the electric foot pedal can only be retrofitted to machines that already have speed control. In this case, the old electronic control is removed and replaced by a new speed control including foot pedal. On Hegner Multicut saws without speed control, however, the motor must be completely replaced.
