The TurnMaster system allows the use of cutting plates in three different steel grades. This flexibility combined with the Robert Sorby guarantee results in a woodturning tool with unlimited application.
The TurnMaster woodturning tools feature a head with patented index system. Thanks to this index system, it is possible to place the cutting blade in 3 different positions (flat, 45° or -45°). The last 2 positions are also called Shear-Scraping, resulting in a finer and smoother result that makes sanding almost unnecessary.
The Turnmaster is available in different versions: 1 woodturning tool with 1 Widia knife (round, square or pointed) or 1 woodturning tool with a set of 3 different HSS knives (round, square and pointed). It is also possible to obtain other cutting blades in HSS and TiN versions.
The Turnmaster woodturning tools are also available without handle for mounting in the Sovereign system.
