Field of application:

Preventive open-pored wood-strengthening agent, protects the wood by physical-mechanical action against fungal and insect attack.

Also for woods in roofed outdoor areas and woods in damp rooms.

Technical properties:

Prevents fungal and insect attack. Also suitable for the restoration (consolidation) of old wood. Water vapour permeable.

Effect by making the wood unrecognisable to pests.

Colour shade:

Light ochre, cloudy.

Ingredients:

Water, aluminium oxide, silicic acid, potassium palmitate, magnesium oxide, potassium chloride, fatty acids.

Substrate and preparation:

The wood surface must be solid, clean, free of grease and dust, untreated and absorbent. The wood moisture content should be 15 - 20%. Shake the container briefly before use. Heavily infested wood should be stripped before treatment.

Application:

Brushing, spraying, dipping or soaking in a trough. Ambient and surface temperature above 15°C. In case of woodworm infestation, carefully and completely soak all frass holes, if necessary with a disposable syringe.

A. Application methods

1. brushing, spraying (at least 2 operations are necessary):

For reliable effect, Woodworm Free 130 must be applied two to three times. Cracks must be carefully treated by brushing. When spraying, allow for losses due to spray mist. 2.

2. dip or trough impregnation:

Allow an impregnation time of at least 30 minutes. Wet and damp wood requires a soaking time of up to 24 hours. 3.

3. in case of woodworm infestation:

Carefully and completely soak all visible feeding holes with Woodworm Free 130.

B. After-treatment

If the surface is to be re-treated, make sure that Woodworm Free 130 has been applied to the entire surface and is completely dry. If necessary, remove crystallised material with a brush or damp cloth. Re-treat inside with all LEINOS oil- or wax-based products, outside with a weatherproof LEINOS product.

Drying time:

Follow-up treatment after approx. 24 hours, when the wood is completely dry.

Container sizes and consumption:

Brushing, spraying: approx. 100 ml/m2 per application. At least 2 working cycles are necessary! - Dipping or trough impregnation: approx. 15 l/m3.

Storage and shelf life:

Stable for at least 2 years when originally sealed. Store in a cool, dry but frost-free place. Close container tightly.

Disposal:

In accordance with local, official regulations. Dried up product residues can be disposed of with household waste.
