Paint strippers generally contain nasty chemicals such as chlorides to dissolve modern coatings. A paint stripper is therefore usually a nasty product to work with. Bad for the environment and bad for your health. If oil is not processed correctly, a layer of oil can remain on the surface, creating a sticky layer that is difficult to remove.
