Merkelbach wood soap can be applied with a flat brush or cloth. It provides reasonable protection and should be reapplied every 6-12 months. The soap is only available in a light natural wood color. Very suitable on tropical wood, avoids rings and stains. Maintain with damp cloth, and possibly some ordinary household soap.
