Complete buffing machine with four felt discs (550 Watt motor)
This is an alternative method that has become very popular recently. A layer of buffing paste is applied to a rotating felt disc (approximately 1500 t / m). The tool is pressed fairly firmly against the disc with the fold for a few seconds and the heat generated as a result will melt the paste and at the same time the fold will be smoothed off.
We offer the 125 mm flat felt discs in two versions: a dark, soft disc for buffing gouges and a white, harder disc for buffing flat chisels and shallow gouges. The profiled, 100 mm, felt discs are available with a convex surface (available in 12 or 6 mm thick), for the inside of the gouges, or with a pointed angle for the inside of the burins.
The discs can be purchased separately or mounted as a set on an axle. These sets can then
for example, be driven with a drill or a wood lathe.
